Shocks & Struts

Worn shocks and struts can affect your vehicle’s handling, and wear out your tires before becoming noticeable, since they wear out gradually. So, it’s a good idea to have them inspected. An Acme Tire and Auto inspection doesn’t cost you a thing, and if you do pay to replace your shocks or struts, it can actually save you money in the long run, because your tires will last longer. Your car will ride smoother, and more comfortably too.

Air Conditioning

Are you ready for hot weather? It’s coming. Don’t wait until a hot, sweaty day to realize that you need air conditioner maintenance. Usually, all you will need is a re-charge, and you’ll be enjoying summer driving in comfort. If you need more than a re-charge, whether you drive a foreign car, or domestic, our friendly, certified mechanics can help you with that as well.

Alternators & Starters

You don’t really think too much about your alternator or your starter… until one of them goes bad. Either one can leave you stuck far away from where you need to be, or stranded in the middle of nowhere. Don’t wait until you are stranded, we can test your starter or alternator to see if it is working properly. Although we can’t estimate how long they will last, we can at least tell you if they are working at their recommended capacities. If you ever do find yourself stranded, call us at 616-874-9050. Sometimes we can ask you some questions, and help troubleshoot a solution to get your car drivable to a safer spot, where you can get help.

Tune Ups

We recommend having your spark plugs changed, every 3 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. You can trust our certified mechanics to remove and install spark plugs to manufacturers’ suggested methods and specifications. Click here to find out more about tune ups.
